    I have Type 2 diabetes. Diagnosed in March 2022. Now past the grief and denial of the diagnosis, I am ready to deal with it.

    Overall, I want to be fit. I weigh 228 lbs with a BMI of 33.7.

    Objective 1: Lower A1C and blood sugar level

    • A1C ≤ 5.7%
    • Fasting blood sugar is 80–130 mg/dL

    Objective 2: Attain a normal weight BMI

    • BMI ≤ 24.9
    • Weight = 168 lbs

    I weighed 168 lbs in 1998, I think.
